With its premium SUV range set to arrive in South Africa during Q1 2026, LEPAS is underscoring its dedication to outstanding after-sales support. The brand draws on the well-established capabilities of parent company Chery, whose existing local infrastructure forms a strong foundation for delivering premium-level customer care across the country.
At the heart of the LEPAS after-sales operation is a central parts warehouse spanning more than 6,000 square metres, housing over ZAR 180 million worth of genuine parts inventory and maintaining a fulfilment rate above 98%. An efficient logistics network ensures parts reach key metros such as Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town within 48 hours. LEPAS also benefits from access to more than 330 certified paint and body repair centres nationwide, alongside a 24-hour roadside assistance programme — an ecosystem that currently serves over 100,000 Chery Group vehicle owners across the country.
“After-sales service is a critical part of the Lepas experience,” said Jay Jay Botes, General Manager of Lepas South Africa. “Our goal is to ensure that every customer feels confident and supported from beyond the point of purchase. We are leveraging Chery’s proven systems and expertise, while tailoring the experience to meet the expectations of premium SUV owners in South Africa.”
Backing this commitment are purpose-built technical training centres located in Boksburg and Sandton. Staffed by specialist teams, these facilities will ensure every LEPAS technician is fully equipped to uphold the brand’s exacting standards.
Meanwhile, Lepas dealerships are actively under construction and remain on schedule for the 2026 launch. Each location will include dedicated service centres engineered for a seamless, efficient and premium ownership experience.
“Our dealers are preparing to offer an after-sales experience that matches the quality and sophistication of the vehicles themselves,” Botes added. “This is about more than repairs or maintenance. It’s about building trust, ensuring peace of mind, and creating lifelong relationships with our customers.”
Through this blend of proven technical infrastructure and a locally tailored, high-touch service approach, Lepas is positioning itself to set a new benchmark for after-sales excellence in South Africa’s premium automotive space.
