Lepas South Africa has launched its first #ReservedforL6 guerrilla campaign, transforming premium parking bays and city streets into conversation starters as the all-new Lepas L6 begins making its public debut.
Rather than introducing the L6 through a traditional vehicle launch, Lepas is inviting South Africans to discover it for themselves.
The campaign begins with a simple message appearing in premium parking bays across Johannesburg: Reserved for the L6. With no explanation, the installations are designed to spark curiosity, encouraging shoppers, commuters and content creators to stop, speculate and share their discoveries online.
As the campaign unfolds, the mystery continues to build through social media, where consumers are encouraged to photograph the installations and join the conversation using #ReservedforL6 and #LepasSouthAfrica.
From 4 August, the campaign extends beyond the parking bays with a custom-built Lepas mobile display touring premium lifestyle destinations across Johannesburg. Carrying the all-new L6 within a striking architectural display, the activation brings the vehicle directly to consumers while creating memorable moments for photography and social sharing.
“The #ReservedforL6 campaign is about taking the L6 to people,” says Letitia Herold, National Brand and Marketing Manager at Lepas South Africa. “The reserved parking bays created the initial intrigue, while the mobile display truck gives people the opportunity to see the vehicle as it makes its way through Johannesburg.”
Those who spot the L6 and share their images using @Lepas.SouthAfrica, #ReservedforL6 and #LepasSouthAfrica will stand a chance to win the Drive Your Elegance experience, extending the campaign beyond the streets and into the hands of South Africans. Terms and conditions apply.
The activation reflects Lepas' aspirational positioning and a different approach to launching a new vehicle. Rather than revealing everything at once, the campaign invites South Africans to become part of the story as it unfolds, turning curiosity into conversation and conversation into discovery.
As #ReservedforL6 unfolds across Johannesburg, all roads lead to the Festival of Motoring 2026, where the L6 will take the next step in its South African debut.
